Lighting that makes sense: sustainable, circular, and future-ready

At Multiline, sustainability doesn’t start with the product—it starts with the vision behind it. From material selection to reuse: every detail matters. Our solutions align perfectly with the ambitions of circular construction and forward-thinking architecture. For those who design with the future in mind and specify sustainably, we offer technical reliability with aesthetic value—and the assurance of a partner who thinks along.

Circular thinking from the design stage

What is built today must still be relevant tomorrow. In a world where resources are becoming scarcer and the climate impact of construction projects is growing, it’s essential to design with the future in mind. That’s why we fully embrace circularity as the foundation of our development process. Every fixture we design is based on the belief that sustainability should begin at the first sketch—not at the end of the product’s life.

Our products are modular, meaning they are easy to assemble, disassemble, repair, or upgrade. This flexibility not only extends the product’s lifespan but also makes reuse and adaptation to new needs a natural part of the process. We avoid waste and ensure our solutions evolve with changing spaces and requirements. Even existing profiles are not discarded—they are given a second life through smart retrofit options in new projects.

We also focus strongly on using sustainable materials. For our aluminum profiles, we deliberately choose raw materials with an average of 70% recycled content. This not only reduces the ecological footprint of our products but also contributes to circular material management within the industry. Our LED boards are certified with the Cradle to Cradle Bronze label—a unique recognition in the sector. They form the core of a lighting solution that is robust, low-maintenance, and future-proof.

This integrated approach goes beyond technical choices—it’s a commitment to actively contribute to a more sustainable world. By embedding circularity into every design, we make a tangible contribution to international sustainability goals such as SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). We’re not just building fixtures—we’re helping build a circular economy where quality, innovation, and responsibility go hand in hand.

Responsibility woven
into every step

Our sustainability vision goes beyond the product itself. It permeates every link in our chain. By keeping the entire process in-house—from design to production and finishing—we ensure maximum control and minimal ecological impact. Every step is taken consciously. Thanks to our local production, we not only reduce transport distances but also increase traceability and quality.

In our own powder coating facility, we use only solvent-free powder coatings, applied under strictly controlled conditions. This avoids harmful emissions and ensures a safe, healthy production process. We also make a difference in packaging and logistics: we choose reusable carts, boxes, and transport packaging, preventing waste before it even arises. Our material use is efficient, thoughtful, and circular. Residual flows are not discarded but reintegrated into the cycle.

Moreover, our entire production process complies with the strictest European standards and certifications, including CE, ENEC, and RoHS. This integrated approach reflects not only our quality standards but also our active contribution to a climate-conscious and resilient society. We make a concrete and measurable contribution to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Responsible entrepreneurship is not an afterthought—it’s a structural choice.

Lighting with people at the center

Sustainability goes beyond materials—it’s also about people. That’s why we design lighting that puts user well-being at the center. With human-centric lighting and tunable white technology, we support the natural daily rhythm and create ergonomic lighting environments for workplaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and public spaces. The result: reduced visual fatigue, improved concentration, and greater comfort. This directly supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

Designed with the end in mind

True circularity begins at the very first design stage. That’s why we make decisions during the design phase that make a difference—both on-site and in the long term. Our fixtures are fully disassemblable and reusable. We deliver them in bulk or via reusable transport carts, in collaboration with suppliers who support circular packaging. We also offer guidance on material statements, life cycle assessments (LCAs), and circularity calculations. Our solutions are fully compatible with certification systems such as BREEAM, WELL, GRO, and LEED.

A reliable partner for sustainable construction

We offer lighting solutions that combine aesthetics and technical performance. We support architects, designers, and construction teams with specifications, BIM models, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and share our expertise in sustainable renovation and new construction. Our products are ready for the circular economy of tomorrow—and built to help shape it.
